BMCC Day Care
Support a newly launched children's day care run by T.A.G Beacon Mission Christian Center (BMCC) in Malimbe, Mwanza. Help provide safe, nurturing care for children in the surrounding community while their parents are at work, easing the pressure of balancing work and family responsibilities.

About this program
BMCC Day Care is a newly launched childcare initiative run by T.A.G Beacon Mission Christian Center, a church based in Malimbe Township, Nyamagana, Mwanza. It exists to give working parents in the surrounding community a safe, nurturing place for their children during the day — easing the pressure of balancing work and childcare. As a recently opened program, volunteers play a real part in helping it get established alongside BMCC's own team.
- Provide safe, supervised care and play for young children
- Support daily routines, feeding times and nap schedules
- Assist with early learning activities, songs and storytelling
- Help the BMCC team welcome working parents and build trust in the community

Requirements & what's included
Do I need previous experience?
Most volunteers are welcome regardless of experience level — we match you with a placement that fits your skills. A background in childcare, education or social work is useful here but not required.
What is your child safeguarding policy?
Every volunteer on this program is briefed on our child protection code of conduct before starting. This covers safe, appropriate interaction with children at all times, a strict no-photography-without-consent rule, and a direct line to our local staff to report any concern. Our permanent local team is present at the placement site throughout your stay.
How long can I volunteer?
We accept volunteers for as little as 1 week up to 6 months or more. The minimum recommended stay for meaningful impact on this program is 2–4 weeks.
